Baby K. is one of my "Watch Me Grow" clients, so I get to see her every 3 months.  This was our first time having an outdoor session and we were lucky enough to catch some of the beautiful cherry blossoms at Baker Park.  K. was all smiles and a super model.  Once she started crawling there was no stopping her.  She is the fastest baby I've ever met!  I can't wait to see her for her 1 year photo-session.

There is no greater compliment than having a return client.  I did an extended family photo session with this family last summer at their home in Middletown, Maryland.  Both time C. melted my heart.  He is the cutest kid and he loves to have his picture taken.  He makes suggestions for poses and is so fun to work with.

One of my favorite locations is good old Downtown Frederick.  The options are limitless and Frederick has so much character.  Couple that with a two gorgeous sisters with an equal amount of character (and a little sass) plus a stunning mom--well as you can see, it's a winning deal.

I got home and was going through all the images and noticed that V. was such a little diva that she never once smiled.  She was very interested in perfecting her poses.  I think she totally rocked it.

I have a hard-fast rule.  I will take a mama picture every time.  I know how hard it is to get pictures with your babies.  Someone special taught me this.

I am pretty sure V. was warning me that I was about to get hit by a car.  We were on Market Street at 7 pm and had about 5 seconds to pull this shot off:)

Isn't it amazing when Facebook serves a purpose?  Well, it helped me to reconnect with Sabrina, who I was friends with until I was 13 and moved to Frederick.  She hadn't changed a bit (aside from becoming an awesome mom) and it was really fun to meet and photograph her beautiful family!

I met with this lovely family for an early morning session at Baker Park for E.'s 1 year pictures.  Little E. kept me on my toes; she wasn't still for a second.  She was a great little model.

What an honor to be asked by one of my closest friends to photograph her newborn baby!  I met Baby S. when she was about 12 hours old and we did this session a week later.  She was an excellent model and as you can tell loved her hands up by her sweet little face.

The ever elusive, and seldom captured, newborn baby smile!
